Signal Smarts

MARINA NETWORKS

Marine-grade network infrastructure for private yacht clubs, public marinas, mooring fields, and long docks — engineered for salt, sun, high-density use, and the RF challenges that come with steel hulls and open water.

IT IS ABOUT DENSITY — NOT A SPEED-TEST TROPHY

Modern marina networks fail when hundreds of clients associate at once across finger piers and steel structures. Signal Smarts engineers for concurrent sessions, clean roaming, and backhaul that keeps up with the air interface.

We coordinate with marina management to confirm power locations, mounting points, and pathway routes — so hardware is placed correctly from the start and the network performs the way the site demands.

CHOSEN FOR SALT SPRAY & SUN

We specify marine-rated enclosures, proper grounding, and cable paths engineered to survive constant moisture, UV exposure, and vibration. Every installation is documented so your team knows exactly what was built and where.

INSTALLED RIGHT, THE FIRST TIME

Our crews work directly with dock and facility teams to place hardware cleanly, run cable correctly, and leave every installation looking like it belongs there — not like it was added as an afterthought.

Process

HOW WE DELIVER

[ 06 STEPS ]

From first conversation through commissioning and ongoing support — coordinated with your dock team, documented at every step.

  1. Send dock diagrams, aerial captures, or PDF slip maps along with your coverage goals and any known power or pathway constraints.

  2. We review site conditions, model RF across water, masts, and metal structures — then schedule a site survey when needed.

  3. You receive a full scope: hardware selections, mounting plans, network design, and a quote.

  4. After sign-off we configure VLANs, network equipment, and monitoring in the lab — then ship hardware labeled by pier or building ID.

  5. Install crews coordinate with your dockmaster to minimize vessel disruption during the work.

  6. Every device is commissioned and tested. Handoff includes as-built drawings, admin credentials, and ongoing support contacts.
